Previously Untreated Multiple Myeloma

Purpose

To compare the Progression Free Survival of adding a single agent to lenalidomide with dexamethasone versus lenalidomide with dexamethasone alone in patients with newly diagnosed, previously untreated multiple myeloma.

Criteria 

• Male or female patients at least 18 years old
• Have never received any prior systemic anti-myeloma therapy
• Have measurable disease
• Not candidates for high-dose therapy plus stem-cell transplantation

Details

• Treatment Period: at least 3 chemotherapy cycles
• All subjects will be followed every 4 weeks until disease progression
• Then followed every 12 weeks for survival
