Dr. Moore served a Pathology Externship at Penrose Hospital and Cancer Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and completed a Medicine internship and residency at the City of Memphis Hospitals/Veterans Administration Hospital Combined Program in Memphis, Tennessee, and a Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he served as an Instructor in Medicine. He is an author of both clinical and laboratory research.
His practice and research interests are in benign and malignant hematology, coagulation and thrombosis.
He is a Fellow, American College of Physicians and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and in Hematopathology by the American Board of Pathology. He is a Senior Member of the American Federation of Medical Research, the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, and the International Society for Thrombosis and Hemostasis.
