Dr. Nickelson served for 12 years on the teaching faculty at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport before returning to private practice. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine. His primary area of interest is breast cancer and clinical research in breast cancer.
He currently serves as the Director of Medical Oncology at Willis-Knighton Cancer Center. Dr. Nickelson is a member of the American College of Physicians.
