Willis-Knighton Health System is pleased to provide a holiday gift to the community by sponsoring the televised holiday concert of the Centenary College Choir under the direction of David Hobson. The television concert has been a holiday tradition in our community since the days of black-and-white television, and Willis-Knighton has sponsored the performance for a decade.
The holiday music concert will air on KTBS on Sunday, Dec. 23, at 5:30 p.m. and Monday, Dec. 24, at 10:35 p.m. It will also be included in the holiday programming rotation on KTBS’s digital station, 3.3.
The choice has performed throughout the world since 1941, singing for American armed forces, performing at the White House and for European heads of state and has even had lengthy engagements at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The choir is selected by audition from students at Centenary and is not restricted to those majoring in music. They perform both sacred and secular music.
