When you are admitted, you are given a wristband. It is important to wear this wristband throughout your stay.
Your room assignment is based on factors which include your doctor’s orders, the type of care you need and room availability. Critically ill and emergency patients receive immediate attention and first priority for admission.
What You Need During Your Stay
You may want to bring your own nightgown or pajamas as well as a toothbrush, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers. Maternity patients should bring clothing for the baby to wear home and an infant car seat.
What You Should Leave at Home Do not bring jewelry or valuable items. The hospital cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. If you have items that cannot be sent home with a family member, please talk to the nurse on duty about locking them away. Please do not bring a coffee pot, hair dryer, electric toothbrush, television or radio as their use can affect patient and staff safety.
