Staying overnight in one of our facilities includes a stay in a private room with a bathroom and television. The room is set up like a standard bedroom. Patients arrive at 8 p.m. and are generally discharged at 6 a.m. If you wish to awaken earlier, you may do so.
You will be monitored by electrodes which are placed on your face and scalp. A small belt-like strap is wrapped around your chest, abdomen, and legs to monitor breathing and leg movement. An oximeter will be placed on your finger to monitor the oxygen level in your blood. A sleep technician continuously monitors you with audio and video during the entire course of your study.
