“A thoughtful act or a kind word may pass in a moment, but the warmth and care behind it stay in the heart forever.”
Words of gratitude don’t seem to be enough to express our sincere thanks for our miracle on July 7, 2003. The entire staff at the Regional Transplant Center staff are to be commended for expertise in their respective fields.
Every day is a second chance for someone to enjoy life to its fullest. . . it’s so important for the community to understand what a blessing organs mean to recipients and their families.
As each new day unfolds, we become stronger. The Lord is our strength and we will never walk alone. Thank you for a second chance in life!

My wife and I are so grateful to be able to make this testimony about the Regional Transplant Center.
I was blessed with a liver transplant two years ago. I had been diagnosed with a blood disorder which destroyed my liver. The professional diagnosis later was cirrhosis of unknown origin.
Thanks to the Regional Transplant Center doctors and nursing staff, I have made a good recovery. The joy of seeing the sun set, hearing laughter of our children and grandchildren, and sharing life with my wife are so dear to my heart.
It began like a nightmare, but it became a wonderful dream. Although every day isn’t perfect, because of complications, we are still in awe how wonderful it is to have renewed life.
It is amazing how the end of one life can mean the extension of another.
We say thank you again to the Regional Transplant Center, doctors, and staff for their professionalism and attention.
With Sincere Appreciation,
Don and Lou
