Willis-Knighton Hyperbaric & Wound Care Center treat patients with chronic wounds that are often the result of diabetes and vascular disease but that may be caused by injury.

  • Diabetic ulcers
  • Arterial ulcers caused by a lack of blood flow to the wound
  • Pressure ulcers caused by sitting or lying in the same position for long periods of time
  • Hard-to-heal surgical wounds
  • Venous stasis ulcers formed when veins in the legs do not remove fluid efficiently
  • Soft tissue ulcers resulting from radiation treatment
