This state-of-the-art approach to aquatic therapy decreases joint stress with a weightless environment and offers increased strength and conditioning secondary to water resistance. Warm temperatures promote muscle relaxation with the added features of an underwater variable speed treadmill. This pool features a fully adjustable floor allowing patients to walk or roll directly onto the floor, varying levels of immersion, and powerful water jets for resistance for competitive sports training or deep tissue massage as well as video observation system. This pool’s benefits have proven so successful that many major sports teams – both professional and college – include Hydroworx in their athletic and training facilities.
