Willis Knighton South opened in southwest Shreveport in 1982 as South Park Hospital, the first satellite hospital in the state. It provides critical, emergency and general medical care with a focus on women’s services at the adjacent Center for Women’s, which is focused on care for women and children, offering a wide array of specialized services in a convenient suburban setting. Among these are Willis Knighton’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Housing for out-of-town parents is also available here. This campus also offers WK South Fitness Center, WK Quick Care and Quick Care Kids as well as physician office buildings. WK Canterbury Square is part of this campus and includes outpatient services such as the WK Hyperbaric and Wound Care Center and WK Breast Center.
