Innovative Lighting Aids Relaxation
Proton therapy at the Willis-Knighton Cancer Center has been designed to help the patient be more at ease with the Philips Ambient Experience is designed to create a friendly, inviting environment, that distracts from the sometimes intimidating experience patients have in medical settings. In essence, patients will “design” the room to their preferences selecting light, sound and images prior to treatment. The goal is to give patients some control over their environment to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
