During Dr. Peddi’s medical training he served as chief resident and chief fellow at LSU Health Sciences Center.
Prior to joining Hematology/Oncology Associates, Dr. Peddi was a professor of medicine at LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport located at LSU Health. He also served as director of sarcoma research at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center in Shreveport and was also that organization’s associate director of breast cancer research. As a researcher, he has also coauthored more than 20 articles in peer-reviewed publications and has presented researching findings at national cancer meetings. In 2016, he received a Healer Award from LSU Health Shreveport.

Dr. Peddi holds memberships in the American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is certified in Medical Oncology by the same organization.
