Study Title
RELIEF
Purpose
Observational
The purpose of this study is to better understand the long-term results of chronic pain subjects treated with a BSC neurostimulation system.
Eligibility
Subjects diagnosed with chronic low back pain or chronic leg pain and have been identified by their treating physician to receive a nerve stimulation system. The nerve stimulation system (also referred to as a neurostimulation system) that the study doctor plans to use is commercially available and approved to treat pain conditions.
Study Process
The study treatment will consist of neurostimulation trial therapy with any commercially approved Boston Scientific Corporation neurostimulator for pain. Subjects with a successful trial outcome may progress to permanent implant of a neurostimulation system. Those that qualify to be in this study will be asked to fill out research surveys (different types of questionnaires) about their pain and their experience with the study device system. The research surveys will also ask about a subject’s general health, activity levels, areas of pain, and pain history.
