All eye surgery locations at Willis-Knighton fall under the health system’s accreditation, giving patients the comfort of knowing that their surgeries are performed in hospital-based surgery centers. Each of these centers falls under health system’s accreditation by The Joint Commission.  While most eye surgeries are uneventful, having access to a full-service hospital provides another level of comfort should these services be needed.

WK Eye Surgery Center

This center was the region’s first outpatient eye surgery center so it has a long history of serving the vision needs of our community.  Located at the WK Eye Institute, the WK Eye Surgery Center  features the widest array of advanced technology for cataract and vision correction surgery, glaucoma, macular degeneration as well as for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. A positive patient experience is delivered here where the staff focus exclusively on eye surgery.
