Study Title

Anemia with Advanced Stage Non-small Cell Lung Cancer Receiving Multi-Cycle Chemotherapy

Purpose

To demonstrate the overall survival of subjects receiving a single agent for Chemo-Induced Anemia in Stage IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer patients.

Eligibility

Male and Female patients at least 18 years of age

Confirmed diagnosis of Stage IV Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (not recurrent or re-staged)

Expected to receive at least 2 additional cycles of first line myelosuppressive cyclic chemotherapy

Requiring a baseline radiographic scan of the chest to assess disease burden before starting on first line chemotherapy

Study Process

Screening Period: up to 21 days

Treatment Period: at least 6 total weeks

Study visits: every 3 weeks

Radiographic imaging: every 9 weeks
