    Willis-Knighton Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has announced the return of Karen Vandersypen, PT, DPT, PCS, to its Pediatric Therapy Unit at WK Canterbury Square. This unit provides outpatient services to pediatric patients as well as support of inpatient services at Willis-Knighton South.

    Richard M. Harrell, M.D., of Bossier Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine has earned subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).

  • Willis-Knighton Makes Donation to Shreveport Fire Department (2/08/10)

    Willis-Knighton Health System has announced a major donation to the Shreveport Fire Department to benefit the citizens of Shreveport. The announcement was made during a news conference at City Hall with Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover and Shreveport Fire Chief Brian Crawford. The health system will fund the purchase of seven Single Paramedic Rapid Intervention Non-Transport (SPRINT) vehicles for the Shreveport Fire Department as this program is implemented over the next few years. Three vehicles will be purchased immediately.

  • da Vinci Robot to be Displayed at Mudbugs Game (1/25/10)

    The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs return to Bossier City to start their longest homestand of the season beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26. It’s Willis-Knighton Health System Appreciation Night as the ‘Bugs play host to the Texas Brahmas beginning at 7:05 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m.
