The John C. McDonald Regional Transplant Center is the only transplant center in north Louisiana. More than 2,000 organ transplantations have been performed since the program’s inception in 1977. The Center is proud to treat patients from the Ark-La-Tex and beyond.

The John C. McDonald Regional Transplant Center at Willis-Knighton observed the holiday at its annual party held in the Kerlin Memorial Auditorium of the WK Eye Institute. Transplant patients and their families joined the center’s staff and allied hospital supporters at the event. Guests of honor included those who had received transplants over the years at Willis-Knighton, the most recent attendee having been transplanted on December 1, as well as living donors. The Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA) joined Willis-Knighton in recognizing the guests.
