Computerized Foot and Ankle Diagnostics

Overview

If you have pain in your foot, knee, hip or back, your chiropractor may recommend a foot and ankle scan as part of your care. This scan helps reveal problems that affect your posture and cause wear and tear on your joints.

Scan

During your scan, you stand on or walk across a special pad. It measures the pressure on your soles. From this scan, a digital pressure map of your feet is created. It can show problems with your weight distribution. Your chiropractor also studies the way you walk. This helps to understand how your foot and ankle movements relate to the rest of your body.

Care and Management

Your chiropractor may recommend chiropractic adjustments, orthotics and other options. You may benefit from a continuing care plan. Your chiropractor can create a plan that is right for you.
