Oct 31, 2022

Tina Firouzbakht, MD, has joined Willis-Knighton Cardiology, part of the Willis-Knighton Physician Network. Dr. Firouzbakht, a cardiac eletrophysiologist, specializes in the treatment of patients with abnormal heart rhythms.

Dr. Firouzbakht comes to Willis-Knighton from a fellowship in electrophysiology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. Previously, she completed a cardiology fellowship at LSU Health Science Center following an internal medicine residency there. Dr. Firouzbakht earned her medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Helping patients feel better and improving their quality of life motivates Dr. Firouzbakht. “Sometimes a patient will have something like atrial fibrillation and their quality of life becomes limited because of symptoms from their condition.
