Meet Dr. Brett A. Koder

Dr. Koder returned to Northwest Louisiana and rejoined Willis-Knighton Health System in March 2013 after practicing for 17 years in North Carolina. He holds an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and earned his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. During his educational years he received numerous academic from organizations in which he participated. He completed a residence at LSU Health Sciences Center, Shreveport in 1993. Demonstrating a strong interest in sinus and allergy issues, he participated in a presentation, “Correlation of MRI and CT in the evaluation of Sinus Abnormalities.” Dr. Koder is licensed by the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners and is a board certified Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. In addition to general otolaryngology, his specialty interests include allergy and sinus disease, endoscopic sinus surgery and balloon sinuplasty. When not at work, he enjoys college and professional sports, playing tennis, traveling and spending time with his family.
