Good health is something we all value. We can all benefit from Benjamin Franklin’s advice that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

Prevention starts with routine self-examinations to detect an abnormality in your breasts. And if you find a lump or have pain in either or both breasts, you’ll want to see your physician right away.

One way to keep on top of your breast health is to follow a regular schedule for mammograms. Willis Knighton Breast Centers are available all over the community. And during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’ll even provide Saturday hours to accommodate working women Oct. 4 and 18 at the Breast Health Center at Willis Knighton Portico Center in Shreveport and Oct. 11 and 25 at the Breast Center at Willis Knighton Bossier Medical Pavilion.
