Dr. Gallagher is a homegrown physician pleased to treat cancer patients in his hometown of Shreveport. His clinical experience spans the I-20 corridor at clinics across North Louisiana.
He was chief fellow during his post-graduate specialty training at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center. Dr. Gallagher demonstrated his interest in medical research through more than a decade of work in scientific laboratories across Louisiana. He co-authored many articles in medical journals and presented research at national and international cancer meetings. He speaks at educational meetings and serves on local committees related to his medical practice.
Dr. Gallagher holds American Board of Internal Medicine certifications in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, all of which demonstrate his commitment to patient safety, professional practice and continuing education.
