    ACS is the largest source of funding for cancer research, boasting 49 Nobel Prize winners. The agency’s research influences standards for chemotherapy, radiation therapy, bone marrow transplants, mammogram, Pap test and PSA test. ACS research includes discoveries related to DNA structure the medications Tamoxifen and Gleevec.
