Brandon “Gage” Blackledge, MD, has joined Willis Knighton Physicians Network, practicing at Willis Knighton General Surgery Pierremont. A general surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for patients with abdominal conditions, such as hernias, and skin and soft tissue disorder, Dr. Blackledge is passionate about what he does and making a difference in patients’ lives.
“As a surgeon, I am committed to providing evidenced-based care while treating every patient as I would a member of my own family,” he says. “I strive to achieve the best possible outcomes and help improve the health and well-being of the communities I serve.”
A graduate of the University of Alabama, Dr. Blackledge attended William Carey University where he obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. He completed advanced training in general surgery through residency programs at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Willis Knighton Health, where he developed expertise in a broad range of surgical procedures and techniques.
Outside of work, Dr. Blackledge participates in outdoor activities, watching movies and following sports. It is family time with his wife and children that he says he enjoys most.
Dr. Blackledge accepts new patients and most insurance plans.
