Matthew Hefner, MD, Performs 250th Robotic Spine Surgery with Globus ExcelsiusGPS®

Matthew Hefner, MD, with WK Precision Neurosurgery, has performed his 250th robotic spine surgery using Globus ExcelsiusGPS®. This innovative technology helps guide surgeries much like a GPS, making procedures safer and less invasive for patients. Dr. Hefner, who offers surgical treatment of a variety of brain and spinal disorders, has particular interest in minimally invasive surgery.
In July 2023, he became the first physician in the area to offer ExcelsiusGPS® for patients needing spinal fusion.
