Whether or not insurance will cover this program is determine by a patient’s insurance plan or coverage, not by Willis-Knighton.
Many insurance plans, including Medicare, cover services in Phase 1 and Phase 2 for patients who have been hospitalized with a recent heart-related event. A physician referral is required. Prior to joining the program, the intake coordinator for cardiac rehabilitation evaluates each patient’s coverage with them and notifies them of any out-of-pocket costs.
Phase 3, the maintenance program, Patients who complete this phase receive a waiver of the enrollment fee at WK Fitness & Wellness Centers to encourage continued wellness.
