Cardiac rehabilitation offers patients:

In Phase 2, each patient receives:

  • Individualized exercise assessments and prescriptions designed for each participant
  • Outcome based program with goals toward behavior modification and prevention
  • EKG, heart rate and blood pressure monitoring
  • A series of 10 educational classes on various topics including nutrition, stress, medications, risk factors and exercise
  • Nutritional consult with registered dietitian
  • Tobacco cessation counseling
  • Prevention of heart failure education
  • Support system
  • Help with weight loss and diabetes control

Sessions three times per week for approximately three months
