Respiratory Therapy

Services here help doctors diagnose and treat lung disorders, infections and cancers. When you receive care at Willis-Knighton, you’ll be assured our skilled physicians and respiratory therapists have access to advanced equipment and technology to help provide the right treatment for you. You’ll find respiratory therapists in intensive care units, emergency rooms and in general patient care units at our hospitals. They treat patients of all ages, starting with premature infants. Therapists with specialized training work in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, as well as in labor and delivery. Specialized training is also required for therapists who offer ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and who deliver care on ground and air transport.
